The Veil Nebula - All Of It

This is a big object - 36 full Moons :) We normally see just the two bright parts - the Eastern and Western Veil - but this is all of this exploded star.

The Veil Nebula with the stars reduced - its in a starry bit of the sky. I always think it looks like a slo-mo burst balloon :) Its actually expanding at around 1.5M Kilometres per hour!
