Muddy Kingfisher

Here’s Mr Kingfisher in his usual spot in my local park. He’s got messy hair and muddy beak. fingers crossed this means he’s helping tunnel a nest somewhere nearby :) Kingfishers often dig a few tunnels into a muddy bank at this time of year and nest in hte back - they can be up to a metre deep!
