A Galaxy Exploding Another One

These are Bodes and the Cigar Galaxies. The Gravity from Bodes is tearing up the Cigar Galaxy which is exploding withe red hydrogen plumes you can see a little of in the picture, NASA and others show this much better. It’s been exploding there for about 100 million years now. We live an a rather gentler galaxy :)
