A Week In Norfolk

Little holiday over in North Norfolk. A wildlife haven, beach holiday, pier and fish and chips kinda place.

We stayed in this lovely village

Fieldfares began to arrive

The converted barn we stayed in had a big hall

It was often windy!

Cley visitors centre - for both birdwatchers and cake fans

Cley and Blakeney Marshes have lots of Marsh Harriers

Norfolk has lots of Glossy Ibis this year

Cley Windmill is a B&B is you fancy a stay

Sheringham Offshore windpower - 315MW - 88 turbines.

Pink footed goose - one of up to 200,000 every winter

Cromer pier has the last pier theatre in the UK

It has Starlings who sing for chips!

Titchwell Beach

Many Oyster Catchers there.

At Titchwell there were Snipe

Great White Egret before pulling in its neck

Wheatear followed me for a mile or so.

And a last look at Cley with 11 Cattle Egrets

THis is supposedly a Little Stint - not sure.
